Profile
WeRide is a global leader in autonomous driving technology focused on transforming urban mobility, logistics, and sanitation through large-scale commercial deployment of driverless vehicles. Founded in 2017 and dual-listed on Nasdaq (WRD) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0800), the company has achieved widespread operations with vehicles running in over 40 cities across 12 countries. It is the first and only company to receive autonomous driving permits in eight markets, including China, the UAE, Singapore, France, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, and the United States.
WeRide’s core strength lies in its universal technology platform, WeRide One, which supports rapid development and scalable deployment across multiple vehicle types. The company offers a portfolio of five main robot-based products. Its flagship Robotaxi was the world’s first to launch large-scale commercial operations in both China and the UAE. Robobus is the world’s first purpose-built autonomous robobus for public mobility. Robovan and the Robovan W5 provide L4 autonomous logistics solutions for intra-city delivery and urban freight. Robosweeper S1 and Robosweeper S6 are the world’s first and China’s first L4 autonomous sanitation vehicles designed for open-road operation with full-scene coverage.
In addition to full autonomy solutions, WeRide offers the WRD 3.0 one-stage end-to-end ADAS system, an automotive-grade, mapless-navigation platform already in mass production with partners such as Chery and GAC. These products collectively address smart mobility, smart logistics, and smart sanitation while delivering millions of kilometers of real-world autonomous operation.
The company partners with major OEMs and operators including Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi, Uber, Grab, GAC Group, and Bosch. Its fleet has accumulated over 55 million kilometers of autonomous driving and continues to expand globally with a focus on safe, affordable, and accessible autonomous services.
