Profile
Verobotics is an innovative Israeli robotics company founded in 2021 and headquartered in Tel Aviv. The company specializes in developing autonomous AI-powered robots designed specifically for the cleaning, inspection, and predictive maintenance of high-rise building exteriors. By combining advanced robotics, computer vision, edge AI, and data analytics, Verobotics is transforming the traditionally dangerous, expensive, and infrequent practice of facade maintenance into a safe, frequent, cost-effective, and intelligent service. The company’s mission is to protect high-rise investments by enabling continuous exterior care that reduces long-term costs, improves building appearance, enhances safety, and creates a digital twin of the facade for proactive management. Backed by investors and with deployments already at high-profile sites including NVIDIA’s headquarters in Israel, Verobotics brings together expertise from building management, aerospace, autonomous vehicles, and AI.
The core of Verobotics’ robot-based products is its lightweight, portable, and fully autonomous facade-cleaning and inspection robot. Unlike traditional Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) that require heavy rooftop infrastructure, cranes, or gondolas, the Verobotics robot is plug-and-play and BMU-free. One operator can easily deploy multiple robots on a building’s exterior. The robot uses advanced onboard sensors, cameras, and AI algorithms to navigate complex facades autonomously. It detects window frames, crawls over obstacles, maintains complete surface coverage, and operates continuously for extended periods without fatigue. Operating up to four times faster than human workers, the robot cleans glass and other surfaces while simultaneously capturing high-resolution visual data. This dual function eliminates the need for separate cleaning and inspection visits.
The collected data is transmitted in real time to a cloud-based data hub where AI analyzes the surface condition, identifies cracks, stains, structural issues, or degradation. Over time, this builds a comprehensive digital twin of the building exterior. Building owners and service providers gain predictive maintenance insights, allowing them to address problems before they become costly repairs or safety hazards. The system also contributes to lower energy consumption by maintaining cleaner facades that improve thermal performance and reduce the need for excessive manual interventions. The robots are powered by edge AI technologies, with recent collaborations highlighting integration with NVIDIA platforms for enhanced onboard processing and autonomy.
Verobotics targets two primary customer segments. For building owners with in-house teams, the robots offer a simple, scalable solution that pays for itself quickly through reduced labor, fewer insurance risks, and more frequent maintenance. A single trained operator can manage multiple robots, solving scheduling challenges and enabling year-round pristine appearance. For facade service providers, the technology delivers a competitive advantage: higher productivity, perfect consistency, compliance with strict safety regulations, and the ability to offer added-value digital scanning services. The robots remove the dangerous practice of workers suspended on ropes or cradles, significantly improving worker safety while increasing output.
The underlying technology draws from aerospace, robotics, and AI fields. Onboard sensors continuously monitor motion, location, and surface characteristics. Real-time data processing ensures thorough coverage and accurate detection. The platform emphasizes reliability, with robust failsafes for outdoor conditions including wind, weather variations, and urban environments. Verobotics’ approach represents a shift from reactive, periodic maintenance to continuous, data-driven building care — similar to how expensive vehicles receive regular washing and servicing. Early commercial deployments demonstrate significant time savings, cost reductions, improved building valuation, and the creation of valuable long-term facade health records.
With a team of approximately 20–25 professionals led by co-founders Ido Genosar (CEO, with deep construction and innovation experience) and Itay Levitan (CTO, with UAV and robotics background from companies including Elbit and Airobotics), Verobotics is rapidly expanding. The company is actively entering new markets such as Japan and the United States, forming partnerships with major real estate and technology players. Its solution addresses growing global demand for smarter PropTech tools as cities fill with ever-taller buildings that are expensive to maintain and risky to access. By making exterior management safer, smarter, and dramatically more efficient, Verobotics is positioned to become a standard tool in modern building operations and facilities management worldwide.
