Profile
LionsBot is a Singapore-headquartered robotics company founded in 2018 that specializes in designing, manufacturing, and programming autonomous floor-cleaning robots for commercial and industrial use. The company was established by co-founders Dylan Ng, Michelle Seow, and robotics professor Dr. Mohan Rajesh Elara to address the global shortage of cleaning staff by creating reliable, high-performance machines that empower human cleaners rather than replace them.
LionsBot operates from its headquarters and factory facilities in Singapore and maintains a global presence with offices in the United States, India, the Netherlands, and active distribution partners across 30 countries. Its robots have collectively cleaned more than 15 million square feet of floor space worldwide. The company’s core technology is a proprietary cloud-based operating system called LionsOS that enables fleet management, autonomous navigation, real-time monitoring, and scheduled cleaning missions. All robots are built with powerful cleaning mechanisms, long battery life, and ease-of-use features so cleaning teams can operate them with minimal training.
The product lineup focuses exclusively on autonomous cleaning platforms. The R5 is a compact, highly maneuverable robot capable of cleaning up to 12 basketball courts on a single charge while navigating tight spaces and turning in place. The R3 Scrub Pro delivers heavy-duty scrubbing performance in confined areas such as airports, supermarkets, and healthcare facilities. The R3 Vac provides a complete vacuum solution, while the flagship R12 Rex Scrub offers maximum cleaning power and water capacity for large venues. Additional variants include the R12 Rex CS and LeoScrub models. Every robot emphasizes cost efficiency, 24/7 operation capability, and features like obstacle avoidance and automatic docking.
LionsBot has received multiple industry awards, including the Interclean Amsterdam Innovation Award 2020 (the first Asian company to win), the European Cleaning & Hygiene Award, IF Design Award, and recognition on the Forbes Asia 100 to Watch and Financial Times High-Growth Companies lists. The company continues to expand its dealer network and invest in new models while maintaining its mission of giving cleaners “superpowers” through smart, powerful, and user-friendly robotics.
