Profile
Husarion is a Polish robotics company (Husarion sp. z o.o.) with over a decade of experience developing autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and supporting software. Based in Kraków, the company specializes in providing ready-to-use mobile robotic platforms, ROS and ROS 2 software stacks, and connectivity solutions that enable researchers, engineers, and companies to rapidly build and deploy autonomous systems.
Husarion’s flagship robot-based product is the Panther, a rugged unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed for demanding outdoor environments. It features an aluminium chassis, four powerful 473 W BLDC motors, an 81 × 85 cm footprint, a 100 kg payload capacity, and a top speed of 2 m/s. The platform is rated IP54/66 for weather resistance and includes built-in sensors such as an IMU and quadrature encoders. It supports extensive customization with add-ons including robot arms, LiDAR, 3D cameras, GNSS RTK, and UWB navigation. Open-source ROS and ROS 2 drivers and extensive tutorials make Panther highly suitable for research, prototype development, and real-world applications in agriculture, construction, logistics, and inspection.
In addition to the Panther platform, Husarion offers custom robot design services covering hardware (electronics, mechanical, embedded software), software (ROS development, simulation models, fleet management), and certification support. The company also maintains a strong focus on education and developer tools, with comprehensive documentation, simulation environments, and community resources. Its solutions are used by universities, research institutions, and commercial clients worldwide, with an emphasis on accelerating the transition from concept to field-ready autonomous systems.
