Profile
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (FF) (NASDAQ: FFAI) is a California-based technology company founded in 2014. It originally focused on developing ultra-luxury intelligent electric vehicles (EVs) but has pivoted strongly toward Embodied AI (EAI) and robotics as a core growth driver alongside its vehicle business. The company positions itself as an EAI ecosystem player, integrating advanced AI, robotics, and mobility under a “Robot & Vehicle +” strategy. It emphasizes co-creation with users, developers, and partners, along with a “Three-in-One” EAI approach: EAI Devices (robots), EAI Brain (open-source platform and foundation models), and a decentralized data factory for continuous AI improvement.
FF entered the robotics market aggressively in early 2026, aiming to become one of the first U.S. companies to deliver both humanoid and quadruped robots at scale with positive margins. Its robotics business leverages expertise from its EV AI systems (advanced computing, sensors, and software) and targets education, security, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, home companionship, and entertainment applications. FF highlights rapid shipment progress (dozens of units delivered shortly after launch) and partnerships for education and research.
Key robot-based products include three main series:
- FF Futurist Series — Full-size professional humanoid robot (approx. 169 cm tall, 64-69 kg). It features 23-28 degrees of freedom plus a 6-DOF dexterous hand with tactile sensing. Powered by NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, it supports advanced tasks like reception, manufacturing, quality control, and hospitality. Pricing starts around $34,990 + skill package. It offers strong payload capacity (up to 8 kg), interactive displays, and high-end perception systems.
- FF Master Series — More agile, compact athletic humanoid (approx. 131 cm tall, 35-39 kg). It is designed for dynamic movements, education, entertainment, fitness, and family companionship. It features higher DOF (27-31), faster walking speed (up to 1.8 m/s), and NVIDIA Orin NX computing. Pricing starts around $19,990 + skill package.
- FX Aegis Series — Compact intelligent quadruped/bionic robot (41-47 cm tall, 15-20 kg). It serves security, patrol, surveillance, delivery, and companion roles. It reaches speeds up to 5.5 m/s, offers strong payload options, and uses NVIDIA Orin NX platforms. It is the most affordable, starting around $2,499 + skill package.
All models emphasize hot-swappable batteries, multi-modal perception (LiDAR, RGB-D cameras), voice interaction in 50+ languages, OTA updates, and developer tools via an open platform. FF promotes ecosystem skills, teleoperation, and integration with its vehicles. The company ships robots with regulatory certifications and focuses on real-world deployment, education camps, and data-driven AI enhancement.
Faraday Future continues its dual-engine strategy of EAI vehicles (e.g., FF 91, FX Super One) and robotics, backed by financing and developer co-creation programs.
