Bold Robotics is a Portuguese robotics engineering company based in Portugal with additional presence in Turkey. Founded as a small, multidisciplinary team of robotics experts, the company develops robust autonomous and remotely operated ground vehicles primarily for demanding industrial, environmental, and civil protection applications. Their focus is on creating reliable robotic platforms that help humans safely perform dangerous or repetitive tasks in challenging environments such as construction sites, agroforestry operations, and hazardous terrain.

The company’s main robot-based products are highly capable Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and perception systems. The Shadow is a light multipurpose UGV featuring a 120 kg payload capacity, top speed of 30 km/h, and up to 5 hours of battery autonomy. It supports radio control, teleoperation, and full autonomy, with advanced sensors including 3D LiDAR, stereo cameras, and RTK GNSS. The Spartan is a heavier-duty platform designed for demanding applications with a 1,000 kg payload, 12 km/h top speed, and 3 hours of autonomy. The Sentry is a universal vehicle sensing and control module that can be retrofitted onto existing heavy machinery to enable autonomous operation. It features a powerful Nvidia Jetson Nano processor, multiple redundant sensors (LiDAR, thermal, RGB-D), 5G connectivity, and CAN-BUS integration.

All platforms are IP-rated for rugged use, support multiple control modes (including a web-based teleoperation platform), and are designed for harsh outdoor conditions. Bold Robotics also offers Bold Asset Management, a web-based software platform for fleet monitoring, mission planning, data analysis, and multi-robot coordination.
