Profile
Anyware Robotics is a San Francisco Bay Area robotics company focused on developing general-purpose mobile robots powered by embodied AI for unstructured industrial environments. Founded in January 2023 by four robotics veterans (including three UC Berkeley PhDs), the company builds solutions that enable robots to work safely alongside humans in dynamic warehouse and logistics settings.
The company’s core technology is AnywareOS, an intelligence layer that handles perception, motion planning, and autonomous decision-making. This allows robots to adapt in real time to changing conditions such as varying box sizes, orientations, packaging types, and shifting loads.
Its flagship product is Pixmo, a mobile collaborative robot featuring a force-sensing arm. Pixmo is designed primarily for warehouse receiving and fulfillment tasks, including trailer unloading, trailer loading, depalletization, palletization, case picking, and machine tending. Key advantages include the ability to be deployed in just one day with minimal infrastructure, high adaptability through machine learning, and strong safety features that protect both workers and products. The robot has already demonstrated significant results, with customers reporting up to 60% cost reduction in receiving operations and improved worker safety.
Anyware Robotics has strong academic and industry credentials — the founding team collectively holds 25 patents, has published over 100 papers, and received multiple best-paper awards. The company has also won major industry recognition, including MHI’s Best Innovation Award at ProMat 2025 and MODEX 2026. Early deployments at companies such as Saddle Creek Logistics have validated its performance in real-world operations.
