RobotsInc Editorial Standards

Editorial Guidelines

The standards used to research, write, review, and maintain RobotsInc company profiles and editorial content.

RobotsInc is built as a human-curated robotics industry resource. Every company listing is reviewed, researched, and assembled individually rather than being published as an automated scrape or unreviewed data feed. Editorial work begins with the company’s official website, which is treated as the primary source for information about products, technologies, markets, locations, and company history. When credible sources conflict, information published by the company itself is generally preferred unless there is a clear reason to note otherwise.

Company profiles are written in a neutral, professional style appropriate for an encyclopedia, directory, or robotics trade publication. Descriptions should explain what a company does, how its products relate to robotics, which technologies it develops or supplies, and which industries or applications it serves. Promotional claims, exaggerated language, unsupported superlatives, and copied marketing text are avoided. Accuracy, clarity, factual completeness, and usefulness to the reader take priority over sales language.

RobotsInc also follows consistent editorial and formatting standards across the site. Business names, contact details, product information, categories, and social media accounts are checked manually whenever practical. Writing should remain readable and direct, with consistent terminology and punctuation. When the word “and” is used in a series, RobotsInc uses the Oxford comma. When an ampersand is intentionally used instead of “and,” no comma is placed before the ampersand. The goal is a directory that combines efficient research tools with deliberate human review and editorial judgment.

01

Official Sources First

Company websites are the primary reference for products, technologies, markets, contact information, and corporate background.

02

Neutral Editorial Voice

Profiles are written to inform rather than advertise. Marketing language, hype, and unsupported claims are removed or rewritten objectively.

03

Human Review

Listings are assembled and checked individually. Categories, images, contact details, and descriptive content receive manual editorial attention.

04

Robotics Relevance

Descriptions emphasize the company’s robotics business, products, enabling technologies, applications, industries served, and relevant history.

05

Accuracy Over Promotion

Factual completeness and clarity take priority over persuasive language. Conflicting information is evaluated rather than silently combined.

06

Consistent Style

RobotsInc applies shared terminology, formatting, punctuation, and presentation standards throughout directory and editorial content.
