Profile
Apis Cor is a Florida-based robotic construction technology company focused on bringing fully autonomous on-site 3D printing to the homebuilding industry. The company designs, builds, and deploys mobile robotic systems that print concrete walls directly on a standard foundation, eliminating the need for traditional masonry crews while producing strong, code-compliant structures. Its technology has already been used to construct the world’s largest 3D-printed building in Dubai, a commercial structure in Texas, and multiple fully permitted residential homes across the United States.
At the center of the offering is a mobile robotic fleet consisting of three coordinated units. Frank is the primary mobile 3D printer, capable of printing structures up to two stories tall. It transports easily on a standard truck and trailer and can be repositioned on a job site in under 25 minutes without cranes. Gary serves as the intelligent material-delivery robot that works alongside Frank, using self-learning algorithms to continuously adjust material flow and mix quality in real time. Mary is the compact material-delivery system that eliminates heavy lifting and manual mixing—builders simply add water to start printing.
The full process is designed for practicality: a standard concrete slab foundation is poured, the robotic system arrives and sets up in roughly 30 minutes, architectural plans are converted into print-ready code, and walls are printed autonomously with minimal supervision. Once printing is complete, the printer exits through the door opening and standard trades finish roofing, windows, MEP systems, and reinforcement using conventional methods. This hybrid approach ensures the printed walls integrate seamlessly with existing building codes and practices.
Apis Cor emphasizes three core benefits: efficiency through automated wall printing that reduces labor and speeds delivery; scalability that supports everything from single homes and ADUs to entire neighborhoods; and resilience, with durable concrete structures engineered to withstand hurricanes, floods, and fire. The company also operates a design-build and training division that includes hands-on workshops, an “Apis Cor University” video library, and a studio for printing custom architectural elements.
Beyond selling robotic systems, Apis Cor offers fully 3D-printed homes, short-term stays in completed printed houses on Airbnb, and partnership programs for large homebuilders. The company was founded by Nick and Anna Cheniuntai and is headquartered in Melbourne, Florida. It has earned top honors in NASA’s 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge and continues to expand deployments with major U.S. builders while maintaining a focus on making affordable, high-performance housing more accessible through robotics.
