PNDbotics is a Beijing-based robotics company focused on developing integrated platforms and core components for humanoid robots. Founded to bridge advanced technologies including electronics, machinery, bionics, and machine learning, the company specializes in creating modular, reliable hardware and software solutions that lower the barriers to humanoid robot development and deployment.
The flagship product is the humanoid robot Adam, a general-purpose platform featuring a biomimetic design and learning-based motion control. Adam uses deep reinforcement learning (DRL) trained on diverse datasets to achieve anthropomorphic movements, allowing it to perform complex tasks with human-like performance. The robot comes with a complete software ecosystem, including simulation tools, URDF model files, and deployment frameworks, enabling developers to design, test, and train robots more efficiently and at lower cost.
Beyond the full robot, PNDbotics offers the PSA series of smart actuators. These modular components emphasize integration, stability, and high reliability through simplified mechanical and electrical designs. They support a wide range of robotic applications and are engineered for both prototyping and large-scale production. The company positions these actuators as foundational building blocks that make advanced robotics more accessible.
To support end-to-end commercialization, PNDbotics established the PND Intelligent Manufacturing Center (PND-IMC). This facility creates a closed-loop ecosystem covering independent research, ground-up development, mass production, and distribution—key for scaling humanoid robot technology from early prototypes to commercial products.
The company’s overarching goal is to accelerate embodied AI development by providing developers with an integrated robotic platform.
