Profile
AGILOX is an Austrian robotics company specializing in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) for flexible and efficient intralogistics. Headquartered in Neukirchen bei Lambach, the company originated in 2009 and was officially rebranded as AGILOX in 2017. It has grown into a global player with subsidiaries in North America (Alpharetta, GA), China (Shanghai), France, Germany, and Iberia, and counts more than 300 customers across 20 countries.
AGILOX’s core innovation is its X-SWARM Technology, a decentralized swarm intelligence system that eliminates the need for a central control unit. The robots communicate directly with each other multiple times per second, enabling real-time route optimization, dynamic task allocation, and automatic adaptation to changing environments. This “Plug & Perform” approach allows the first robot to be operational in under 12 hours and additional units in as little as 15 minutes. All models feature omnidirectional drive for superior maneuverability in narrow aisles and operate via a simple web browser interface with no proprietary software installation required.
The company’s product portfolio includes four main AMR models:
- AGILOX ONE – The all-rounder designed for flexible production environments and open pallets up to 1,000 kg.
- AGILOX OFL – A versatile free-lift AMR capable of lifting and transporting loads up to 800 kg to heights of 1.2 meters.
- AGILOX OCF – The powerhouse counterbalanced forklift that handles up to 1,500 kg, including closed pallets.
- AGILOX ODM – The smallest and most agile model, optimized for small load carriers and dollies up to 300 kg.
All robots share the same software platform and emphasize safety features such as advanced obstacle avoidance and floor projection lights. AGILOX positions its solutions as a revolutionary alternative to traditional AGVs, offering maximum flexibility, scalability, and ease of use for warehouses, production facilities, and material handling operations.
